Cabot Market Letter was named one of the Top 10 Letters of 2010 by MarketWatch’s investment newsletter watcher, Peter Brimelow. In his December 27th column, Brimeow calculates the Cabot Market Letter’s return at 33.2% for the 12 months through November 30, 2010, compared to 12.61% for the dividend-reinvested Wilshire 5000 Total Stock Market Index.
Editor Michael Cintolo attributes the Letter’s outperformance to the Cabot growth stock picking strategy and proprietary market timing systems. The Cabot Market Letter was started in 1970, and recently published its 1000th issue on December 15. The Letter has been recognized for its strong performance numerous times over the years by MarketWatch, Hulbert Financial Digest and Timer Digest.
