Jacob Mintz Named Editor of Cabot Options Trader

Cabot Heritage Corp., publisher of 12 investment advisory services, has named Jacob Mintz the new editor of Cabot Options Trader.

SALEM, Massachusetts, February 11, 2013—Cabot Heritage Corp., publisher of 12 investment advisory services, announced that Jacob Mintz has been named the new editor of Cabot Options Trader, their exclusive options trading strategy service.

Cabot Options Trader is an investment advisory service for individual and professional investors who want to use options to boost profits and reduce risk. Cabot Options Traders’ strategies includes puts, calls and spreads in high risk/high reward plays, income generation, earnings plays, volatility plays, order flow reading, momentum trades, contrarian plays and portfolio protection.

Jacob Mintz is a professional options trader. Using his proprietary options scans, Jacob creates and manages positions in equities based on risk/reward and volatility expectations.

Jacob developed his proprietary risk management system during his years as an options market maker at a top tier options trading company in Chicago. Trained by two legends from the floor of the Chicago Board of Options Exchange (CBOE), Jacob was the youngest member of his company to ever become an options market maker at the age of 22. He independently made markets for institutional and customer option orders in hundreds of stocks such as Bank of America, Google, UPS and Apple on the floor of the CBOE, the largest options exchange in the world.

Jacob developed concentrated sector trading and risk management policies, and successfully navigated his trading team through the heart of the 2008-2009 financial crisis. Jacob’s day-to-day role was the simultaneous market making of over 250 stocks in open outcry and electronic forms. In 2010, Jacob and his team took their operation off the floor, where he ran a proprietary trading desk often competing against some of the largest hedge funds in the world.

Jacob has traded through such events as the Internet Boom and Bust, September 11, the Flash Crash, the Subprime Crisis and Eurozone Crisis, and trained dozens of new traders who have gone on to become successful traders themselves.

Timothy Lutts, president of Cabot notes, “What excites me most about bringing Jacob’s expertise to Cabot subscribers is the opportunity to expand our options strategies to include more advanced tactics. These will include using options as insurance to protect your current equity holdings, using options to generate yield, and using options in a variety of spreads, to name a few.”
