Closing Trade Alert
With 22 days left in the August 19, 2022 expiration cycle we are able to lock in well over 50% of the original premium sold in GLD back on July 8.
My preference is to always take off trades early if we have the ability to lock in 50% to 75% of the original premium sold, especially when we have over three weeks left until the trade is due to expire. So today I’m going to lock in profits in GLD and take all associated risk off the table. This marks our fifth consecutive profit since starting the service.
Simultaneously:
Buy to close GLD August 19, 2022, 155 put strike
Sell to close GLD August 19, 2022, 150 put strike for a total of $0.16 (As always, the price of spread will vary, so please adjust accordingly.)
