Wall Street’s Best Investments 832

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for our virtual Cabot Summit. We really missed seeing you in person, but were so happy that we could at least share some of our investing ideas and strategies during this strange time in which we are living. I hope you enjoyed the Summit!

We are keeping our fingers crossed that the coronavirus trend seems to be improving. Unemployment is still dismal, but there are some very bright spots in the economy—both housing starts, building permits, and manufacturing are rising.

And as you’ll see in our Advisor Sentiment Barometer and Market Views, sentiment continues to be bullish.

We begin our issue this month with a deep dive into a banking company that doesn’t look at all like a traditional bank. It’s all digital, all the time, and is rapidly expanding its product offerings. In my Feature article, I further explore the digital banking world and how it is growing, and not just for the Gen Z population.

Next, we include a Top Picks Healthcare update that didn’t make its way into last month’s Top Picks issue.

Our Growth offerings include companies from the construction, online education, consumer discretionary and industrial sectors. In Growth & Income, you’ll find ideas in the industrial, infrastructure, entertainment, transportation, and consumer discretionary industries.

Moving on to Value, we have one pick—a company that makes lighting products. For Financial, our contributors, this month, picked a payment processor, credit rater, resource asset manager, and insurance stocks for your review.

Our Healthcare ideas include a medical device company, a drug maker with a COVID-19 vaccine in the works, and a giant pharmaceutical business. In Technology, you’ll find a FANG stock, a company bringing a unique twist to the Internet of Things, a software provider, a 5G player, and a Chinese e-commerce company.

In High Yield & Preferred Stocks, we offer a Hong Kong multi-line company, a tobacco firm, and a preferred stock from the insurance industry. In REITs, you’ll find a hospitality and gaming business, a high-income focused company, and a REIT that invests in senior housing and healthcare properties.

Lastly, our Funds & ETFs offer a small-cap idea, a consumer staples fund, and a consumer cyclical vehicle.

I hope we soon see the winding down of this pandemic, and hope that you are staying safe and healthy. Please don’t hesitate to email me with your feedback and questions. My address is nancy@cabotwealth.com.
